For parents

Know how your child is doing, without looking over their shoulder

StudyWorld writes practice questions from your child's own study material and tracks, per concept, what has already stuck. With a code from your child you follow that progress in your own free parent portal.

You see progress, not your child's answers.

What you see

  • How many questions your child answered this week, on how many days, and how that compares with last week.
  • How much time was spent studying.
  • How much of each subject is already mastered.
  • Which subjects are going well and which could use help.
  • The chapters, with the names your child gave them, and how far along they are.
  • When they last studied.

What you deliberately do not see

  • Your child's answers.
  • Which questions they got wrong.
  • What your child typed.

That is on purpose. Someone who knows every mistake is passed on starts answering carefully instead of honestly. And StudyWorld works precisely because your child is allowed to get things wrong: what goes wrong comes back later until it sticks.

How to link your account

Your child decides whether you follow along. That keeps linking simple and fair.

  1. 1

    Your child makes a code

In StudyWorld, under Settings, in "Let a parent follow your progress". A code stays valid for 14 days.

  2. 2

    You create a parent account

Choose "Parent" when you sign up. A parent account is free.

  3. 3

    You enter the code

Straight away you see the progress in the parent portal. With more children, you add each code separately.

Your child sees who is following along and can withdraw that access at any time in their own settings.

Young learners

If your child is under 13 in Belgium, or under 16 in the Netherlands or another country, a parent or guardian has to agree. That is the law, not our rule.

You give that agreement by redeeming your child's code. Your child can start practising in the meantime, so nobody has to wait.

Where the questions come from

Only from the material your child uploads: a chapter, notes or a photo of the board. No questions are made up about anything that is not in that material.

Your child's material is not used to train AI models and is not sold or shared with advertisers.

What it costs

Your child gets everything free for the first 7 days, without payment details. After that, everything they made stays and they can keep practising. To make something new, they choose StudyWorld Unlimited at €14.99 a month or €119 a year. The parent portal itself is free.

Questions from parents

Does the parent portal cost anything?

No. A parent account is free. A subscription, if you want one, runs through your child's account.

Can I follow more than one child?

Yes. Each child makes their own code, and you add them all to the same parent account.

Does my child know I am following along?

Yes. Your child makes the code and sees in their settings who follows their progress. They can withdraw that access at any time.

Can I read my child's answers?

No. You see progress per subject and per chapter, how much was practised and what is still hard, but not the questions, the answers or what your child typed.

From what age can my child use StudyWorld?

Every learner can start. If your child is under 13 in Belgium, or under 16 in the Netherlands or elsewhere, you give permission by redeeming your child's code.

Does StudyWorld work for every subject?

For every subject your child has study material for, from history to French and maths. The questions come from that material.
